DSG Competitive Gymnastics Teams
USAG "Pre-Comp"
Pre-Comp gymnasts will continue to obtain and refine the skills listed on the Level 2 and 3 testing sheets. To be invited to join Pre-Comp, gymnasts MUST tryout at the designated tryout dates. These teams practice two days a week, year-round, working hard to accomplish their goal of joining the Team.
USAG "Compulsory" Team Levels 3, 4, and 5
Compulsory Level gymnasts perform USA Gymnastics mandated and choreographed routines at sanctioned competitions throughout North Dakota and the surrounding areas. Level 3 gymnasts have accomplished 80% of the requirements listed on the Level 3 testing sheets. In Level 4 and 5 gymnast have accomplished 80% of the skills on their respective testing sheets and the USAG requirements to move up.
USAG "Optional" Levels 6-10
Optional Level gymnasts perform personalized routines created around a strict set of rules and requirements set by USA Gymnastics. These gymnasts are judged not only on their ability to perform their skills correctly, but also on how well they are able to incorporate their individual personalities into each of their routines.
USAG Xcel Silver-Diamond
Xcel Level gymnasts perform personalized routines created around a strict set of rules and requirements set by USA Gymnastics. These gymnasts are judged not only on their ability to perform their skills correctly, but also on how well they are able to incorporate their individual personalities into each of their routines.
